I’m Jamie, and I run Mainwaring’s MTB. I buy good-quality used mountain bikes directly, whether you’re looking to put the money towards another bike or simply want to sell yours for cash.

About Mainwaring's MTB
Mainwaring’s MTB is an independent, family-run mountain bike business based in South Wales.
I’m Jamie, and I started Mainwaring’s MTB from a genuine love of mountain biking and a passion for finding great bikes and getting them back out on the trails.
I buy and sell quality used mountain bikes, with every bike individually chosen and checked before it’s offered for sale. Because I deal with the bikes myself, I know what I’m selling and I’m always happy to have a chat and help you find something that’s right for you.
There’s no big showroom or pushy sales team — just a straightforward, personal service from someone who rides bikes and knows bikes.

Not at all. You don’t need to buy a bike from us or part exchange anything — we’re happy to buy suitable bikes outright.
We’re interested in non-e-bikes, including full-suspension mountain bikes and long-travel hardtails, across a wide range of makes, models and conditions.
Send us a few details and photos and we’ll let you know if it’s something we’d be interested in.

Due to the nature of our business we only offer collections from our site in Swansea, South Wales. We would love to see you there!

We don’t currently offer finance, but you may be able to part exchange your current bike against the cost of your next one.
We sell non-e-bikes, including full-suspension mountain bikes and long-travel hardtails, across a wide range of makes, models and conditions.

You can pay by cash or bank transfer.
If you’d prefer to pay by credit or debit card, we can also arrange payment through PayPal. We don’t take card payments directly, but PayPal gives you the option to pay securely by card.

The easiest way to see what’s currently available is to send me a message on Facebook or Instagram. Let me know what sort of bike you’re looking for, along with your budget and size, and I’ll let you know what I have in stock.
If I don’t have the right bike at the moment, it’s still worth getting in touch — new bikes come in regularly.
